Operation InAsMuch brings together Christians from local churches for a day of
hands-on missions. These churches work together to show the love of Jesus by
meeting the practical needs of people and agencies in Pitt County.
This year Operation InAsMuch will be held on April 24th. Churches involved are
Immanuel Baptist, Oakmont Baptist Church, Peace Presbyterian, and Unidos Por Cristo.
Oakmont Baptist Church, 1100 Red Banks Road, Greenville is the host site for
Operation InAsMuch this year.
A Donut and Coffee Kickoff from 8:00 - 8:20 AM will be held in Oakmont's fellowship hall.
Preschoolers of OIAM volunteers can be dropped off at Oakmont 's for the Preschool Day
Camp at 8:00 AM and picked up by 1:00 PM. Pre-registration by Sunday, April 18 is
required for preschoolers, and parents need to bring a bag lunch for them on April 24th.
The preschoolers and children will be doing and learning about age appropriate missions
ministry.
Operation InAsMuch began with the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC
in 1996. Operation InAsMuch has been in Greenville since 1999.
We hope you will prayerfully consider how you can reach others for Christ through
Operation InAsMuch. This hands-on mission day is simply another means by which believers
can put their faith into practice through the use of their talents and abilities.
Operation InAsMuch will allow you to experience the joy of doing what God has instructed
all believers to do.

April 24th, and then click on the project to sign up as a volunteer. A project leader
will contact you the week prior to April 24th with instructions on where to meet,
what to bring, and what you'll be doing in Operation InAsMuch. Thanks in advance for
your participation and prayers for this outreach.
Items are being collected at participating churches now through April 24 to use
during Operation InAsMuch. Even if you can't be present on April 24th, you can
donate items ahead of time and still participate in the ministry that will occur as
part of Operation InAsMuch. These are the items we need:

Individually wrapped snacks or homemade cookies or brownies (peanut butter crackers,
candy bars, granola bars, trail mixes, Little Debbie cakes, microwave popcorn, etc.)

Gently used Christian magazines, Better Homes & Gardens, Golf, or other appropriate
magazines for hospital patients.

| 3. |
Hygiene items: travel and regular sizes of shampoo, soap, mouthwash,
feminine products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, tissue packs,
and lotion.

| 4. |
Fabric, thread, buttons and velcro for girl's dresses, baby blankets, lap robes,
walker aprons, or turbans for cancer patients.
